‘Model of the year’ 2023 competition

  • 31 Dec 2022

We recently launched the ‘Model of the year’ 2023 competition and the deadline to submit the application is 31st December 2022.

More details here https://www.ebi.ac.uk/biomodels/competition/model-of-the-year-2023

The competition aims to recognise exciting mathematical models of biological systems and the modellers who build them. This is an excellent opportunity for early career modellers to showcase their work.  Winners will receive a cash prize, potentially can present in ICSB2023, invited to write a blog in BioModels, and their work will be highlighted in a journal article published by the juries.

To enter the competition, one should submit their model code in any format (e.g. SBML, CellML, COPASI, CC3D, VCell, Antimony, Morpheus, Matlab, Python, C++, R, Julia scripts etc) and a brief summary highlighting its scientific outcome, novelty and impact.
