Guidelines for ESMTB Financial Support of Travels to Mathematical/Theoretical Biology Events (Meetings, Conferences, Schools)

• Applicants must be members of ESMTB in good standing and preference will be given to applicants who have been members of the ESMTB for a longer time.
• Preference will be given to doctoral students and postdocs, but graduate students and senior scientists may also apply.
• Preference will be given to applicants who present a paper or poster at the Event.
• Preference will be given to applicants who did not receive a travel grant from the ESMTB before.
• Preference will be given to applicants in conditions of economic hardship.
• Funding in most cases will be partial, in order to support a greater number of attendees.

Travel requests are reviewed 4 times each year : March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 15.
