PhD Program in "MODELING AND  ENGINEERING RISK AND COMPLEXITY" in the Scuola Superiore Meridionale  di Napoli.

The overarching goal of the PhD program is to train a new generation 
of highly qualified researchers and professionals, who will be able to 
combine applied and theoretical expertise from a wide range of fields 
to develop and apply new methods to study and manage complex systems, 
to engineer resilient systems and to analyse and cope with risk and 
cascading effects.

The deadline for applications is June 30, 2020.

The PhD program aims at attracting highly qualified international 
students. It lasts 4 years and all successful candidates will get a 
fellowship of 1,500 euros per month (net amount) for all 4 years. The 
fellowship will be increased by a 50% for the period that they will 
conduct their PhD abroad. In addition, each PhD student will have an 
additional budget of 3,800 euros each year to cover participation into 
conferences, summer schools etc.
